Okay, so this is interesting. These are great questions. I appreciate all these questions. I noticed that some interviewers encouraged candidates to share challenges they faced with their previous employers. How can I effectively navigate such questions without appearing negative about my former employer?
Okay, so those are just, those are easy questions. These are all very easy questions. You don't have to say challenges that were We're negative about the employer. You just have to come up with kind of challenges that, that make it seem, positive is if challenges were senior associates got more responsibility on the deals.
I, I would have liked to have been able to bring a business, but the firm's billing rates are and the requirements for the size of. Clients are too high by I would have liked to have been able to get into court more, but the partners all did it. I would have liked to have been able to, I don't know, write more, take more lead on deals, or I don't know, but things that show you're aggressive and interested in practicing and want more responsibility and are enthusiastic and growing and, or maybe.
Or whatever, like you just, you want to do better and you want more responsibility. You want more hours. Maybe the challenges were the firm didn't wanted to work more hours and there were, there just wasn't enough work going around. Anything that sounds positive, that makes you seem like you're trying to grow and be really good at your job is very important.
The more of that you do the better you're going to be. So you take everything in terms of the challenges and you frame them as positives. That's my advice.
